Scope: How AppReclaim uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and application.

1. What Are Cookies?

Small text files placed on your device to store data recallable by a web server. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels — this policy covers all of them.

2B. Marketing & Advertising

AppReclaim does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies and does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add these in the future, this policy will be updated and consent will be obtained where required by law.

3. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies via your browser settings. A consent banner is displayed for non-essential storage where required by law. To re-open AppReclaim's cookie preferences banner at any time, use the Manage Cookies link in the footer of any public page. Disabling essential cookies may impact core functionality.

4. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no industry standard for compliance. However, we limit our tracking to what is necessary for service operation and do not engage in cross-site tracking for advertising purposes.

5. Global Privacy Control

We are implementing support for the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request where required by applicable law (including California's CCPA/CPRA). Because AppReclaim does not currently "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under those laws, no opt-out is required today; we will honor GPC for any future processing that would otherwise constitute sale or sharing.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with a new effective date.
